President & CEO
Patricia Gibson is the President and CEO of PMG Communications, which she founded in 1992 as a small video production company. Over the past 21 years, PMG Communications has evolved to keep pace with developments in the media industry, and meet the changing needs of its clients. Today, PMG is a full-service media development and strategic communications company that specializes in working with small businesses, government agencies, and healthcare-focused corporations.
With more than 30 years of experience in the field, Ms. Gibson has become an expert at bringing together teams of creative and business professionals with complementary skill sets, and leading them in the successful completion of deadline-driven projects. Ms. Gibson is also PMG’s Senior Communications Consultant, and she has worked with internationally known subject matter experts from a variety of governmental and industrial sectors. Her guidance has helped to translate their expertise into actionable communication plans and projects that impact their targeted audiences.
Ms. Gibson’s range of experience also includes more than 18 years of specialization in the healthcare industry. In that time, she has produced projects for numerous Fortune 500 companies, including Abbott Nutrition, Abbott International and Astellas Pharma. Currently, Ms. Gibson consults for the Department of Veterans Affairs, providing strategic direction and social media support for the My HealtheVet campaign.
In 2011, Patricia leveraged her expertise in the healthcare industry by co-founding Healthcare Integrity Group (HIG), where she now serves as Principal and President. Under her leadership, the company has taken an academic concept and developed it into a product that will change the way patients and providers interact.
In addition to her work at PMG and HIG, Ms. Gibson has always made community involvement a priority. In 2003, she founded Women for Economic and Leadership Development (WELD), a non-profit organization that develops and advances women in business. She remains involved as a member of WELD’s advisory board. Ms. Gibson also co-established the Columbus chapter of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) in 2007 and served as chapter President through 2010. She continues to serve on the HBA corporate board of directors. Ms. Gibson’s involvement also extends to the advisory board for The Center for Entrepreneurship at the Ohio State University, the Healthcare Industry Access Initiative board of directors and the advisory board for Close the Gap, Columbus.
Throughout her career, Patricia has received numerous awards, recognitions, and scholarships and she is a graduate of Indiana University.
Vice President, Creative Services
Bryan has more than fifteen years of experience in creative and strategic communications consulting and media development. His capabilities include creative direction, project management, copywriting, design, and all aspects of multimedia production. His career has included staff positions at two of Columbus’s premier production facilities and freelance work for many high-profile national and international clients.
Bryan is a creative problem-solver and leverages the creative process to find innovative solutions to business challenges.
He has also been a featured guest speaker on the creative process for the Psychology of Creativity course offered by Ashland University, and currently serves on the advisory board for the Mid Ohio Filmmaker’s Association (MOFA).
Bryan studied at American University in Washington, D.C. and is a graduate of The Ohio State University.
Associate Vice President, Creative Services
With a background in both fine arts and multimedia development, Abby brings both aesthetic sensibility and technical expertise to each project. Her design philosophy is informed by a comprehensive end-user and audience awareness, which results in modern, user-friendly designs.
Her approach ensures that websites and printed materials not only look great, but also serve the client’s strategic and business objectives.
Abby is a former web design instructor at ITT Technical Institute and has also been a featured guest speaker on the creative process for the Psychology of Creativity course offered by Ashland University.
She also studied at the Glasgow School of Art in Scotland, and is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College.
Project Coordinator & Social Media Specialist
Kate was originally hired by PMG as a freelance writer, and she joined our staff after re-locating to Ohio from Annapolis, Maryland. Drawing on her background in research and public relations, Kate is currently PMG’s resident social media specialist.
She helps our clients develop specialized content for delivery over a several high-profile social media channels. She also monitors and compiles associated data that can be used to increase the effectiveness of social media in our clients’ sales and marketing strategies.
Additionally, Kate manages and coordinates various projects and plays a vital support role in client relations.
Kate is a graduate of both Anne Arundel Community College and the University of Maryland.
